Drop off and pickups are by appointment only. If you would like to view before booking this can also be arranged.

Is there a cancelation fee?
Out of respect please cancel at least 21 days before anyone cancelling 14 days before will accrue a £40 booking fee.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
No.

Does my cat need vaccinations to stay in platinum cat hotel?
Yes, it is required that every cat has up-to-date annual cat flu vaccinations. A veterinary stamped and dated card will need to be presented to prove vaccinations have been given within the last year. The Leukaemia vaccine, though recommended for outdoor cats and multi cat households, is not required to stay. Regular routine flea treatment is recommended or given 2 weeks prior. Any cat with fleas will get treated at the vets, owners will accrue the cost on return.

Will my cats stay together?
The pens are all built to house a maximum of 2 cats at a time. Two pens next to each other can interlock which then means up to 4 cats can share 2 pens. These cats must cohabit in the same household.

Will my cat be in contact with others?
No, cats are housed in separate pens and will not be allowed to mingle with others, other than their pen friends from the same household.

Will my cat be given time outside the pen?
No, the pens are built to licencing guideline sizes and are big enough for two cats to sleep and exercise in. Each pen opens on to a safety corridor, this corridor is designed specifically as a double door safety system to avoid escapes.

What do I need to bring?
Just your cat and vaccination card. The platinum cat hotel will provide beds, scratch post, a toy, litter trays, litter, bowls, dry food and water.

Are the pens heated?
Yes, the pens are build inside a barn, insulated inside that shields from the sun allowing for a cool space in summer months and warm in the winter, for extra warmth if needed each pen has a heater set on a thermostat to keep a steady warm temperature without overheating.

What happens if my cat is ill during their stay?
Should your cat be registered at a nearby vet we will take them to be seen there, otherwise your cat will be seen by Rufford veterinary group in either Rufford or Tarlten. Where it is felt that the cat has an issue which is infectious and could be passed to other cats they will spend the remainder of their stay in the purpose built quarantine pen, this is exactly the same specifications as all the other pens, just far enough away from the others to eliminate risk, so you can continue your holiday safe in the knowledge your cat is being looked after.
Any vet’s bills remain the responsibility of the owner.

My cat is on medication, is that a problem?
No, But all medication needs to be discussed before booking.

How long would my cat be left alone for?
All pens are cleaned and the cats fed morning and evening during which time plenty of time is taken to fuss and cuddle the cats too. A routine check at lunchtime and bedtime. Me and my partner live on site, so the cats are never left for long periods without being checked.

My cat has a special diet. Is that included in the cost?
Dry food is provided by various suppliers. If your cat is on wet food, vet prescribed food, bought online or eats human food (chicken, tuna) please bring along enough to cover the stay, we have a fridge on site and are happy to accommodate.
